Rules
How to Enter

Sign up online to secure your spot. If there are slots left, you can grab one on-site at Cosplay HQ on a first-come, first-served basis.

On-site sign-ups are available during the first hour of the convention, from 9AM-10AM, unless all spots are filled.

Each entrant (or group leader) must fill out the Cosplay Sign-Up Application online. Only one entry per group, please!

Check in at the Cosplay Desk on the show floor at your scheduled judging time. Don't be late, or you'll miss out!
Divisions
-
Youth Division: Open to individuals or groups primarily consisting of children aged 15 and under, accompanied by their parents or guardians. The costume designer and constructor must be 15 years or younger, unless approved by the Hall Costume Contest Coordinator.

Novice Division: Participants with 0-3 Craftsmanship awards (excluding Judge’s Awards or Honorable Mentions).

Journeyman Division: Contestants who have won 4-6 Craftsmanship awards.

Master Division: For those who have achieved 7 or more Craftsmanship awards.
ELIGIBILITY

Valid ImmerseCon badge required for entry.

Contestants under 13 must have parental/guardian approval and accompaniment.

Compliance with the rules is mandatory for participation.

No costumes that have previously won a major award are eligible for an award, but may be permitted for exhibition.
CONTEST RULES & GUIDELINES

Contest rated TEEN: No offensive language or explicit content.

Costumes must adhere to ImmerseCon’s cosplay and dress policy.

At least 75% of the cosplay should be self-made.

Commissioned pieces ineligible for awards but can feature in skits.

Skill divisions are strictly observed, with possible reassignment by judges based on skill level.

Respect and courtesy towards fellow participants and judges are expected.
WALK-ON RULES

Sorry, you can't bring your own track for your walk-on. We've got a killer playlist ready to go. (One that is copyright friendly!)

Walk-ons are limited to 30 seconds and can include up to 4 people.

Walk-on entries must attend craftsmanship judging to be eligible for awards.
